Local Anime Magazine Otakuzine Gets a New Name

According to the new official website, it has announced that local monthly anime magazine, Otakuzine will be renamed to Ozine Anime Magazine.

Ozine Anime Magazine explains that they feel “like it’s time for a change [and] just like in fashion, you can’t wear the same clothes over and over.” They also assures its readers that the rebooted magazine will still have the “monthly dose of the anime” as the former.

The name Ozine is the same name of their annual anime event – Ozine Fest.

On its first special issue, the magazine will feature three anime covers namely; Vividred Operation, Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! and Fairy Tail. A limited edition 3D version of the magazine will be also released featuring the anime Kuroko No Basket.

All four magazines will be available at the Ozinefest 2013 at Php 99.00 each. It will be also available in all major bookstores and magazine stands nationwide except the 3D version cover.
