HERO TV airs Kuroko’s Basketball, Vampire Knight, Digimon: Xros Wars, 2 More Titles This May


In a press release, Filipino cable channel HERO TV has revealed its new anime line-up for the month of May.

The theme for this month is “Invincible Sketch of May” which “brings unbeatable manga characters to television.” New anime titles includes the following:


Tetsuya Kuroko is a former member from the legendary middle school basketball team known as “The Generation of Miracles”. Upon meeting Taiga Kagami he decides upon becoming his shadow to help him become Japan’s greatest basketball player.

Series will premiere on May 15 at 8:30 p.m with replays at 2:30am, 8:30am and 2:30pm



New season will air on May 24 at 9:00 p.m. with replays at 12:00 a.m., 3:00 a.m, 9:00 a.m., and 3:00 p.m.



Cross Academy is attended by two groups of students: the Day Class and the Night Class. At twilight, when the students of the Day Class return to their dorm, they cross paths with the Night Class on their way to school. Yuki Cross and Zero Kiryu are the Guardians of the school, protecting the Day Class from the Academy’s dark secret: the Night Class is full of vampires!

Series will air on May 10 at 11:00 p.m., with replays at 5:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.



Taiki Kudou, an upbeat seventh-grade boy who always helps people in need, encounters a Digimon named Shoutmon, who brings him and his friends to the Digital World. With his friends Akari Hinomoto and Zenjirou Tsurugi, they form Team Xros Heart to compete against rival teams battling for supremacy, with their ultimate goal of taking down the evil Bagura Empire, who plans to conquer the Digital World.

Series will premiere on May 22 at 6:30 p.m., with replays at 6:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m


BLEACH MOVIE: Fade to Black

A mysterious reiatsu (spiritual particle) explosion occurs in the center of Seireitei in Soul Society, causing it to be destroyed. At the exact same time, a major change overwhelms Rukia Kuchiki, which leaves her losing something important inside. Kisuke Urahara sends Ichigo Kurosaki to Soul Society to investigate the disturbance. Upon reaching Seireitei, Ichigo is set upon and attacked by shinigamis, once allies, who have no memory of him and Rukia. Now alone and on the run, Ichigo must find the missing Rukia and uncover the cause of the mysterious incident before it’s too late.

Film premieres on May 12, at 12:00 a.m., with replays at 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Returning anime titles are as follows: Yakitate Japan, Hack/Legend of the Twilight and Legend of Legendary Heroes. On HERO TV’s “Dubber’s Cut,” it will feature channel’s newest anime series “Kuroko No Basket.”
