Rurouni Kenshin Gets Two New Live-Action Films Next Year

According to August issue of  Jump Square magazine, it has announced that Nobuhiro Watsuki’s Rurouni Kenshin manga will be getting two new live-action film adaptations next summer.

Films will cover the Kyoto arc, specifically Great Kyoto Fire and Legend’s End. Takeru Satoh will once again reprise the role of the wandering swordman Kenshin Himura.

The first Rurouni Kenshin film premiered in Japan last August 25 and has earned USD 61 million worldwide including the Philippines.
