According to the official website, it has unveiled more cast members for the upcoming Rurouni Kenshin live-action film sequels.
Here is the latest cast line-up
“PureBoys” member Ryosuke Miura (Gokusen 2, Nodame Cantabile in Europe) will be playing as one of the Juppongatana members Cho “The Swordhunter” Sawagejo.
Half-Japanese half-Filipino fashion model Maryjun Takahashi (Jun to Ai) will be playing Shishio’s lover Yumi Komagata.
Replacing Taketo Tanaka for the role of Yahiko Myojin is 12-year old Oyagi Kaito (Ninja Kids!!! Summer Mission Impossible).
Twilight Samurai’s award winning actor Min Tanaka will be playing as Oniwabanshu member Kashiwazaki Nenji, also known for his old spy name Okina.
The Boom and Ganga Zumba vocalist Kazufumi Miyazawa (Jin 2, Love 2000) will be playing the legendary Ishin Shishi leader who became a Meiji Government official Toshimichi Ookubo.
39-year-old Yukiyoshi Ozawa will be playing Choshu samurai and four time Japan prime minister Ito Hirubumi.
Cast (except the role of Yahiko Myojin) from the first live-action movie will reprise their roles for the two movie sequels.
The two films “Rurouni Kenshin: The Great Kyoto Fire Arc” and “Rurouni Kenshin: The End of a Legend Arc” which covers the Kyoto arc will premiere next summer.
