Manga author Hajime Isayama  mentioned in an interview on White Screen that he is thinking of  abandoning his first plan of a ‘traumatic’ ending for the manga series Shingeki no Kyojin.

Isayama mentioned earlier in the interview that there have been new elements added to series.

Isayama planned the ending to be like Stephen King’s ‘The Mist’ movie, however due to the support of fans especially from the anime series, he was unable to continue the plan. He mentioned that he is a bit loss.

  1. I disliked The Mist but the ending was pretty memorable and shocking. It would be neat if we could see the way both endings would play out. Ending the manga on a more tragic note could be intriguing.
