Last December 20, Anime Alliance Philippines held a limited-time fan meet and photo-op event for Angel-taka of Uchusentai NOIZ at Function Room A, SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
The event was attended by members of the press, bloggers and fans of the Uchusentai NOIZ vocalist. The World Cosplay Summit Philippines Committee, led by WCSPH Project Coordinator Tessa Villareal, was also in the venue to invite Uchusentai NOIZ to be their official partner of WCSPH for future events.
The invitation is to strengthen the working-relationship of WCSPH with Uchusentai NOIZ to have deeper and strengthened relationship with the Filipino fans.
It was also announced that two more regional qualifiers are scheduled next year. A Visayas qualifier is scheduled around February/March while a qualifier in Manila is targeted on March next year . The WCS Philippines National Finals was also announced to be held on June. The Finals is planned to be a stand-alone event however, it will still depend on the sponsors.
It was also revealed that the band’s new album is currently in the works and Angel-taka was recording some songs here in the Philippines. During the Q & A, he was very secretive about the details of the album however, he hinted that it will have original and covers songs sang in English and Tagalog language.
In Abby Clutario’s Instagram account, she posted that she and Angel-taka were working together in recording a song titled ‘Kanata’ in English. She is the vocalist/keyboardist of Filipino progressive rock band Fuseboxx and wrote the English lyrics of the said song.
Angel-taka also revealed that there will be a concert for the visual kei band next year in the Philippines. Details of the concert will be revealed soon.
He answered various queries from his fans during the Q & A like qualities of a Uchusentai NOIZ fan, his ‘secrets’, possible collaboration of local and foreign bands, and many more. He also expressed his condolence to those affected by the recent Typhoon Yolanda.
The program ended with autograph/photo-op session and Angel-taka singing two of the band’s hit-songs, one in which is his cover of Kamikaze’s hit song Narda.
