Japan Invites Filipino Anime Fans For Cultural Exchange


Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced last January 10 that they are inviting Filipino students interested in manga, anime, and cosplay for this year’s JENESYS 2.0 Youth Exchange Program.

According to press release at the Japan Information and Culture Center website, 23 selected Filipino students from technical institutes, colleges, and universities, aged 18-30 years old will be attending a 10-day exchange program in Japan from March 21-30, 2014.

The trip includes visits to corporations, schools and government offices; and attending to one of the largest anime festivals in the world, “Anime Japan 2014.”
