TV5 through its “TV5 Animega” Facebook page has teased fantasy romance anime “Norn9” to air soon on the channel.
“Norn9” is based on an otome game developed by Otomate and published by Idea Factory.

The era where great powers of the world have all ventured overseas. Revolution and liberalism spread all over the world. Right when souls and earth are ill, a glowing sphere appeared in the sky, and removed the borders of the world. Three girls and nine young men depart together with a flying ship.
The series first aired in Winter 2016 in Japan.
(Updated 4/11/2017 1434H) Philippine distributor Pioneer Films has announced on Tuesday (April 11) that the release of anime film “Koe no Katachi” (A Silent Voice) has been cancelled due to unavailability of theaters.
According to Pioneer Films, the movie has been rescheduled to an unconfirmed date.

The movie was initially scheduled on the 15th of April on local cinemas.

An American street basketball team called Jabberwock comes to Japan and plays a friendly match with a Japanese team, but after the Japanese team suffers a crushing defeat, the team members of Jabberwock start mocking Japanese basketball. Their comments enrage Riko’s father, and so he gathers a team made up of the five members of the Generation of Miracles plus Kuroko and Kagami, called Vorpal Swords, to have a revenge match against Jabberwock.

The official website for Clamp’s Cardcaptor Sakura has released last Saturday a promotional video for its new anime this Fall.
The new OAD is titled “Sakura to Futasu no Kuma” and it is the prologue for the “Clear Card Arc” anime series.
“Sakura to Futasu no Kuma” will come bundled with the special edition Cardcaptor Sakura:Clear Card’s Chapter 3 manga series and it will be released on September 13.
The new Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card anime series will premiere in NHK on January 18, 2018.

RADWIMPS previously came to Singapore and performed to a full-house crowd of adoring fans. RADWMPS will first begin their Japan tour, “Human Bloom Tour 2017” with 21 shows slated in 12 cities. This includes a two-day finale at the Nippon Budoukan, one of the largest concert venues in Tokyo, on the 9th and 10th of May. They will then kick-start their Asian tour in Singapore on 4 June 2017.

Shogakukan Asia Pte Ltd has announced last Wednesday (March 29) that Volume 1 of the highly-anticipated English-language release of Bushiroad Media’s “BanG Dream!” manga will be released on March 30 in Singapore.
After the launch in Singapore, the manga will also be making its way to bookstore in five other Southeast Asian countries: Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand and The Philippines. Shogakukan Asia is also exploring opportunities with overseas partners to the manga in other territories.
The BanG Dream! manga tells the story of 1st year high school student Kasumi Toyama, who is determined to start a band despite being an absolute beginner.
While the manga shares the same premise as the television anime series, the manga provides more comprehensive details to each character and features additional scenes not seen in the anime.

The play-date of the anime movie “Koe no Katachi” (A Silent Voice) has been unveiled.

The story revolves around Nishimiya Shoko, a grade school student who has impaired hearing. She transfers into a new school, where she is bullied by her classmates, especially Ishida Shouya. It gets to the point where she transfers to another school and as a result, Shoya is ostracized and bullied himself, with no friends to speak to and no plans for the future. Years later, he sets himself on a path to redemption.
Pioneer Films has previously teased that the movie will be released in the Philippines soon.
The film is based on Yoshitoki Oima’s manga of the same name.
Koe No Katachi was released in Japan on September 17, 2016.
