VIVA-PSICOM Publishing to release more Filipino-translated manga series

During the Manga and Anime Festival last July 11 at the Megatrade Hall 1 of SM Megamall, VIVA-PSICOM Brand Manager Carmela Castillo has announced that the publishing company is planning to release more manga titles under the Kodansha. According to the report, they will be releasing three or four series to be translated to Filipino.

Furthermore, Arata Yamada and Yohei Tanahashi from Kodansha thanked the audience for the support for the Filipino-translated manga series, Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan. They are hoping to launch more manga next year with VIVA-PSICOM.

Launch for “Tagalized” manga set at Manga Anime Festival in July

The postponed launch of the Filipino versions of Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan manga has now a new schedule.

The “Manga Comics Philippine Edition Book Launch” will take place during the Manga Anime Festival on July 11 at Megatrade Hall 1 in SM Megamall.

It was also announced that the third volume of both series will be also released this June, available exclusively at National Bookstores nationwide.

VIVA-PSICOM’s Manga Launch Event postponed

VIVA-PSICOM’s event launch for the Filipino version of Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan manga has been postponed.

According to report by Deremoe, VIVA-PSICOM decided to postpone the event launch due to “request from the people of Japan” however, they assured the fans that the release of the manga series is still in schedule for June.

The new schedule for the event launch will be announced on a later date.

The launch event was supposedly scheduled on June 6-7 at SM Megatrade Hall in Mandaluyong City.

New Fairy Tail movie and original video announced

During the “Fairy Tail 2015 Ryuuousai” event in Tokyo, it was announced that the anime series is getting a new anime film and an original anime video.

This is the second anime film of Fairy Tail. The OVA is based on Fairies’ Penalty Game omake by original manga author Hiro Mashima.

Furthermore, a new key visual was also revealed for the series’ Tartarus arc, which will begin on May 23.

VIVA-PSICOM “Fairy Tail” and “Attack on Titan” event launch dated

During Ozine Fest 2015, VIVA-PSICOM has announced the date of release of the “tagalized” manga series Fairy Tail and Attack on Titan.

According to the tarpaulin ad, the event launch is set on June 6-7 at SM Megatrade Halls.

Earlier, VIVA-PSICOM announced that the translated manga series will be released every month starting June 2015, and the suggested retail price is Php195 per volume. It will be distributed exclusively by National Bookstore.

Viva-PSICOM Publishing will be announcing that they will be releasing Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail and Hajime Isayama Attack on Titan manga locally and it is translated in Filipino.

The translated manga series will be released every month starting June 2015, and the suggested retail price is Php195 per volume.

More details will be announced at Ozine Fest 2015.

Last February 17, Viva-PSICOM had posted on their Facebook page that they were in need of English to Filipino and Japanese to Filipino translators.
