Philippine release of “Love Live! The School Idol Project” movie sets on October 7

SM Cinema through its official Facebook page has announced the premiere date for the upcoming “Love Live! The School Idol Project” anime movie.

The movie will open on October 7, exclusively at SM Cinema and is distributed by Odex, Pte. Ltd.

The 102-minute movie was released in Japanese theatres on June 13, 2015. Aside from the Philippines, the movie will also debut in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Brunei and Indonesia this October.

SYNOPSIS
Although μ’s, the defending champions of the school idol tournament, plans to dissolve their group after the graduation of their senior members, they receive news that leads them to holding a concert event! The 9 girls continue to learn and grow in this new and unfamiliar world. What is the last thing that these girls can do as school idols? ~official website

Japanese voice actress and singer Pile to perform at Cosplay Mania ’15

Cosplay.ph has officially announced that Japanese artist Eriko Hori also known for her stage name Pile will be performing at the JAM Concert during Cosplay Mania ’15.

She is also known as the voice actress of Love Live’s Maki Nishikino.

The announcement was first made through a video uploaded at the Facebook page of Nihonsei Project

Cosplay Mania ’15 will take place this coming October 3-4, 2015 at Function Rooms 2-5, SMX Convention Center.

“Love Live! The School Idol Movie” premieres in the Philippines on October

The official website for the Love Live! School Idol Project anime has announced that the upcoming movie is set to release in theaters outside of Japan starting August 2015.

Love Live! The School Idol Movie will premiere in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, United States, Australia New Zealand, Malaysia, , Singapore, Vietnam, Brunei, Indonesia, and The Philippines.

According to the website, the movie will premiere on October 1, subject to change, in the Philippines. The distribution will be handled by Odex Pte. Ltd, a Singapore-based company that licenses and releases anime for local and regional Southeast Asian consumption.

Movie will premiere on June 13 in Japan.
