SM Cinema through its Facebook page has announced that Naruto’s 11th anime film, Boruto: Naruto the Movie will open this coming September 9. The movie will be screened exclusively by SM Cinema.
It’s been some years since the end of the Shinobi War. Naruto Uzumaki is the 7th Hokage of Konohagakure, in this new era. His son, Boruto Uzumaki, will soon enter the Chûnin exams, alongside Sarada Uchiha and the mysterious Mitsuki.
The teaser trailer for the upcoming “Boruto ~Naruto The Movie~ has been released.
The 50-second teaser features the movie’s four main characters: Naruto (Hero), Sasuke (Master), Sarada (Rival) and Boruto, himself. The teaser also features a narration from Jiraiya’s voice actor Hochu Otsuka.
Boruto ~Naruto the Movie~ is directed by Naruto Shippuden director Hiroyuki Yamashita with Masashi Kishimoto, series’ original creator and Ukyo Kodachi doing the script.
The movie will premiere on August 7.
SM Cinema has announced yesterday that the premiere for The Last -Naruto the Movie- will be delayed until January 2015.
According to their official Facebook, the delay was due to “some technical concerns on the film content” and they will announce the final schedule soon.
SM Cinema previously aired Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie last April 2013.
The official website of Shonen Jump has announced that Masashi Kishimoto’s comedy action manga series Naruto is ending on the 50th issue of the magazine.
The said issue will be released on November 10.
Series was serialized in 1999. The series has also inspired multiple anime, anime film, OVA, and game adaptations.
