Philippine release of “Love Live! The School Idol Project” movie sets on October 7


SM Cinema through its official Facebook page has announced the premiere date for the upcoming “Love Live! The School Idol Project” anime movie.

The movie will open on October 7, exclusively at SM Cinema and is distributed by Odex, Pte. Ltd.

The 102-minute movie was released in Japanese theatres on June 13, 2015. Aside from the Philippines, the movie will also debut in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Brunei and Indonesia this October.

SM Cinema announces premiere date for latest Detective Conan movie

SM Cinema has announced the Philippine release date for Detective Conan’s latest anime movie, Detective Conan: The Sunflowers of Inferno.

According to its official Facebook page, the 19th movie of the popular detective anime franchise will open on July 29 exclusively at SM Cinema nationwide.

The movie premiered last April 18 in Japan. It earned JPY 4.1 billion and currently the highest grossing movie for the franchise.

“Arpeggio of Blue Steel” Philippine movie release sets on May 27

The official Facebook page of SM Cinema has finally announced that anime movie Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova (Arpeggio of Blue Steel ~Ars Nova DC) will open on May 27 in selected SM cinemas nationwide.

The movie is SM Cinema’s “Cinexclusive”.

“Arpeggio of Blue Steel DC” movie coming soon to Philippine cinemas

The first Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio film, “Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova DC” will be shown in local cinemas coming soon according to the official website of SM Cinema.

The first film is a compilation of the television anime series with new story sequences.

The film premiered in Japan last January 15. The second “Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio” film (Ars Nova Cadenza) will open on October 3 in Japan.

SM Cinema delays release of “Naruto The Last Movie” in Philippines

SM Cinema has announced yesterday that the premiere for The Last -Naruto the Movie- will be delayed until January 2015.

According to their official Facebook, the delay was due to “some technical concerns on the film content” and they will announce the final schedule soon.

SM Cinema previously aired Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie last April 2013.
